CANON printers and hole punch

we have a cannon IR2200-3300 that has a hole punch finisher but can not use it when printing, only when coping. It says there is not one installed. How do we fix it?

That is a pretty esoteric question. How about going to the Canon web site where they will possibly have an answer.
