good way to get rid of pesky neighbors... or have them call S.W.A.T. on you, or whatever your local taskforce may be (knowing my luck they would use tear gas)...

That just goes to show what you can do with a little extra money and too much time on your hands.

I think the term is "Voila". A viola is a stringed instrument, similar to a violin.  ;)

Have you priced an ITX board with processor? The VIA processors are about equivalent to a PIII-500, although they do run cool. Some don't even require a CPU fan. (But my PIII doesn't require one either.)

i think i may just find a funtional GX1 PSU and Mobo, and put it in the dead Orion VCR that has been laying in my floor for the past several months... either that, or my old CD player, which used a tray load system, so i could easly put a normal CD or DVD drive in it... either way i want an old desktop PC built like the GX1 with the elongated PSU, if i cant find one, i can always cut a hole in the top of whatever i end up putting it in...

Or you could put the components in a viola.

if i had one laying around, i probably would ;D ... but i would rather use a VCR or somthing like that, i have enough junk laying around, like my dead CD player from 91 or 92, it has a tray for loading CD's, so that would make it easy to put a drive in
