Can't connect to internet

I recently moved to my own apartment and I brought my laptop with me.  I can get online through my router.  But at my apartment I cannot connect to the internet.  I have checked the tc/ip settings and they are right.  At my apartment I do not have a router.  I am wondering what I can do to get online.  Please help.

It depends on how your ISP wants you to configure your laptop/Router in order to connect to the Internet.

I suggest you make use of their technical support. They may be able to talk you through it.

    Taylor Overton.....Do you have a internet account with your telephone provider at your new apartment ? It sounds like that is probably the problem . They would have to know so they can configure things .
