I know about the admin panel in my forum. I use it all the time.
Well, I see no evidence of it. You have no Categories or Forums set up.
To see the boards, you need a username and password. (an account)
Reason being simply that my forum has a bug already!
I just want people to post comments, and then let them be able to see it asap.
I'm posting a message to you right now, and I'll see it immediately after posting it. How is that different from what you're saying?
You use the Internet, right?
Did you ever notice that some pages have a "Leave a Comment" button on the bottom of them, and then below them, there are comments from other users?
That's what I want. It requires forum-like-PHP programming...
(Instead of people sending me emails to add to the pages....)
Do you mean to add Categories and "Forums" to your forum? In phpBB terminology, the following Categories are set up in CH: Microsoft, Hardware, Software, Internet, and Other. Under each Category are one or more Forums. Under Microsoft, you see Microsoft Windows, Microsoft DOS, and Internet Explorer, and so on with the other Categories.
Setting up Categories and Forums is an Administrative function. Are you saying you want your forum members to be able to do these functions?
I am not saying that I want my users to be able to access the admin panel, in fact, there is no panel or BBS software that I want at all.
I just want users to leave comments on the individual pages.
I already know how to set categories.
Thanks for joining my forum, Soybean.
I hope this post explains more what I meant!
