I rarely turn my desktop off unless I'm forced to. It usually lives in standby since I rarely use it. As for my laptop I use hibernate alot. It's set to hibernate if it's been in standby for more than 30 minutes. But because of my lack of RAM (32MB lol) it's painful to restart it. But for a machine that runs on battery a lot of the time I really can't leave it on all the time. It's impossible.

I turn my PC off at night.. Which would mean that turning off and on takes approximately 8 hours. Does that still count as resetting?
