Here we go with the Mod stuff again... 3 threads is probably enough.

Well, at least this one has a valid point: we do NEED a GMOD or another admin so that we can fix these errors, since it's clear that Nathan can't devote all his time to the forum to fix it. The other one had ulterior motives. ;) (Sorry, zylstra. ;))

I rarely turn my desktop off unless I'm forced to. It usually lives in standby since I rarely use it. As for my laptop I use hibernate alot. It's set to hibernate if it's been in standby for more than 30 minutes. But because of my lack of RAM (32MB :o lol) it's painful to restart it. But for a machine that runs on battery a lot of the time I really can't leave it on all the time. It's impossible.

I turn my PC off at night.. Which would mean that turning off and on takes approximately 8 hours. Does that still count as resetting?  :)

I make it a point to shut down whenever I leave the house. Saves me from having problems later on.

            LOL

I think you should send Nathan an email and ask your post count to be restored... (then I might stop calling you a Newbie)

For those of you who dont know why their computers are running slow that never shut their computers off completely:

Stop posting "My computer is running slow"
and RESTART IT to clear your corrupted old 1980 system heap...
