I have an IBM 600e laptop computer. Yesterday I replaced the battery and let it charge overnight. This AM, I turned on the computer and it wouldn't boot. It came to a little logo of a paddlock. It allows me to enter up to 23 characters. I hit enter and it gives me on "X". I can do this three times and then it locks me out. If I hit enter instead of trying to enter passwords, the computer gives me two errors. I get an error 173 and an error 163. Any idea of what is happening here? Any help will be very much appreciated.
