I like it.  I just might have to offer him some money for it :) </sarcasm> I can't afford that.

We have an X-box at work and it is running VERY hot, it is almost hot enough to burn your fingers after a few hours of demo play.

Although I would like to play Saint's Row, that game is neat.

I work in a computer store as a salesclerk and PC-mechanic where we have an X-box that is  turned on for nearly 8 hours a day.

Not really, it's pretty crappy work, the place is a mess and we're usually rather bored and people constantly want to buy simple things that require no effort at all. If you ever plan on working in a computer store, don't do it for more than a few weeks and you'll have learned everything there is to learn in a computer store. The rest is just repetition of the same boring routine over and over.

What kind of work would that be? It'd be neat if you could find a job where you have to build systems according to demand and set up networks all day under different situations.

I spotted this a while ago on Hackaday.com . It's by a guy called Ben Heckendorn, you may of heard of him. He hacks/modifies game consoles, primarily to make portable versions.

my buddy has a mac book pro. after about 5 hrs of playing battlefield 2, you could almost cook eggs on the bottom of it. its called a "notebook" and not a "laptop" because, im guessing, that if you were to put it on your lap you would get burnt legs.

lol apple could use that as a sales pitch. "surf the web and cook supper at the same time with the mac book pro!"  :)

Older laptops had these little paws that you could flap out so the laptop wouldn't touch the surface it was standing on. That allowed for pretty good air circulation. Too bad modern laptops don't have that anymore.
