    And here I was thinking that "Utopia Computers" was a well established brand.  :-[

    Can you believe people are actually trying to make a buck this way? 3.3Ghz times 2? I think the gene pool needs some cleansing.

      I brought this up today because not too long ago someone in our forum was explaining this exact example on another ebay post where they are giving incorrect info on the cpu speeds. If you don't know much about the dual core thing, it's a great  "lie" to try and sell a computer.  I wonder how many people were duped into these transactions in the past?

      I am having mixed feelings;

      A. Either people who buy from that page are inherently dumb and naive

      or

      B. They will never notice the difference between a 3.3Ghz core and a 6.6Ghz core ..

      C'mon, would anyone seriously buy anything from a webpage that looks like that? Those people shouldn't even be connected to the Internet and I probably wouldn't feel sorry for them if they did get ripped off by anything looking as *censored* as that..

          this was on a flyer on the incredible 6.0 Ghz  page,  maybe this is the model that the researchers at the Los Alamos Labratories are going to base their new super-computer model after ?   :o

          They don't accept PayPal, the largest company in the world for what they do. My wife works there, if you don't use PayPal chances are that PayPal kicked you to the curb for doing....how you say.... bad things(?) too often.

            Those people have a problem...

            A few points: Its not the actual Utopia company, its a eBay seller with the username and templates set up to look like they are Utopia (A great way to sell things, and its legal to certain points)

            Another thing:
            There is a 6GHz processor, and its been around for a while. Its for some expensive crappy Macintosh.

            SPEED OF A 6.6 GHZ (3.3 GHZ X 2 cores)
            Some motherboards can actualy handle two processors at once, and I think thats what we are seeing here.
