also, when i plug the power cord in, it turns on automatically. i don't think it's suspose to do that is it?

Yes.

Remove the CMOS battery...about the size of a dime on the MBoard. Wait awhile then retry.

still ran into the same problem.

put the battery in, plugged the power cord in and it auto turned on.. but the power button in the front doesn't even light up still

Did you try a known working PSU and booting with minimal devices attached?

If you have; you might need to replace the CPU and mainboard to see if either are faulty..

Fans barely draw any power, the risk of damaging something is greater than the possibility of your problem being caused by a fan me thinks.

Switch the PSU and see if the problem persists. Just because you get light and fans doesn't mean the PSU is 100%.

Bare minimum only. Videocard, RAM, Processor and mainboard.

I gave up trying to do it all my self just going to take it to a tech now.  >:( Thanks for the help though guys!
