« on: October 27, 2006, 01:06:11 AM »
Recently I've been getting the following error each time i launch Nero

"This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy program and correct the problem"

any ideas what can be causing it and a possible solution??

It might take some more info to elucidate a solution.

Problem fixed.  Seems when i installed Nero 7 it didn't fully erase the previous version (Nero 6) and the two were conflicting somehow...downloaded a "clean install" tool from Nero for version 6 ran it which deleted all entries for that version,  then did the same with the"clean install" tool for version 7........finally, re-installed Nero 7, and it's been working great since.

You must ALWAYS remove a previous version when installing the new version of Nero. It's a good idea with most other programs as well, but with Nero 7 it is not an option.

That also illustrates why pertinent history of the problem can be essential to a solution. Sometimes posters overlook this, and we spend literally weeks sorting it all out.   ;)
