When you run the DirectX tests you should see a spinning cube, a moving square etc and other things. You cannot "copy and paste" these tests. It is fairly simple. Just click the display tab, then click the Test DirectDraw and test Direct3D buttons... it's not difficult.

Thanks for the help but that has nothing to do with my problem. I dont know how to make it easier to understand I never had problems with these games before dude. There is no logic in what you want me to do if my computer program worked fine before.

What if some part of DirectX has gotten corrupted which is causing problems with your game? If I have a problem like this, it is one of the first things I try. It is unlikely that this is causing the problem, but possible. And "dude", it takes about 20 seconds to do these tests, and rule out that possibility. But because you just can't be bothered to follow our instructions, which collectively should take no more than about 15 minutes, this whole issue has been dragged out for 3 days now.

If you're not willing to try out our suggestions then good luck trying to fix it yourself. The only other thing I can suggest is you try a system restore to a point where the game ran correctly.

Alright I solved. And I know about the spinning box for the tests I passed all of those. My graphics are fine. Anyways I got it fixed.  I turned my sound card acceleration down in Direct X and now they work cool thanks to Eidos customer service.  So if you have this problem try turning down your sound card acceleration it worked for me. Thanks for the ......help.

Ok so the problem actually was something to do with DirectX. If you actually followed our instructions and helped us to help you work through the problem, we might have got to DirectX sound eventually. But it was not to be. Anyway thanks for your... co-operation.

Nice try to make your self seem like you were anywhere close to the mark dude. I told you about 5 or 6 times graphics had nothing to do with it. Nice try though ill give you an "F" for failure.

I think so too, but at least then we can completely rule out that possibility.

If you have not done so already, go to start > run > dxdiag

What does the computer report its processor and RAM as? Run the DirectX tests on the Display tab.

Maybe this has something to do with ur CPU..

Its so old, that i would not bet it could run any of the games that u have stated at 1/2 a frame.
This really dosent make any sence. You CPU is not only very old, but its a Sempron, wich is a very bad CPU alltogether..
And i think u mean 1GB of RAM.

Even though my suggestions weren't the right ones to solve the problem, at least I actually suggested something. All you ever did was say that his computer wasn't good enough to play the game, in your usual fasion.
