whats up with hotmail forwards?
« on: October 27, 2006, 07:42:43 PM »
why is it that when I or someone with a hotmail email, forwards an email with photos with wording below it,  that the receiver gets them seperated?
for exsample, I got an email from my brother with a photo and the comment  below it was funny, he got it from a website,  so I forwarded it to my sister who has a hotmail account,  the words  are first, then the photos are at the  bottom of the page, so its stupid and makes no sense, now IF I would have received my brothers email at my servers email address,[ my home email,] and I would have forwarded it, it would be the same.
for some reason hotmail is spliting the photos from the words every time its forwarded. really sucks when someone forwards me some cartoons and all the pictures are at the bottom, sort of takes the fun out of it. I end up searching for it on line to send it out directly
anything I can do? I ve not had this problem till the last few months.

Cut , copy and paste it into a new message instead of forwarding it...

[rant]I never see a forwarded email. I hate them so much that I filter and delete them before they reach my inbox. Next to spam it is the worse thing that ever happened to email. Every time one is forwarded a ton of garbage gets added. If I wanted to be a spammer, I could collect thousands of email addresses, doing nothing more than examining the headers of forwarded emails. Ever wonder how a private address winds up on a spammers list?[/rant]

People who forward E-mails should be knee-capped.

well to put all of you at ease, I get no spam at my hotmail, yay, and  the forwards Im talking about are girl stuff like animated greetings , man bashing, woman bashing, redneck humor, and junk.Im online about three times a week , dont have time for much.
so your saying to copy and paste, but then wouldnt that be an attatchment?
many times when people forward me attatchments I open it and theres just  a whole long paragraph of jumbled up letters.
I dont get that at all.
Im about as computer savy as my grandma.
    But Ill try it out
    thanks.

No. You paste it into a new email. No attachments, no forwards, decreases transmission time, received email is MUCH cleaner.
