sound blaster problem
« on: November 12, 2006, 01:03:28 PM »
I am having problem with my sound I can hear it using the mic but if I get alerts I don't hear a sound.I have remove everything under safe mode and let it automatically installed when I boot up. I can't change anything because it is greyed out under sound playback.I am getting modem #1 line playback in that box. I have upgraded directx  but that didn't help.  Thanks for the help

What happened prior to this? I assume it has not always been that way.
