Printer Scanner Problems

Lately I've been having a lot of problems; computer crashes. burned out mother boards and HD's going South.  So I bought a new lap top hoping to repair the desk top.  Now my HP 1350 all in one will not scan. When you press the scan button the on/resume button flashes and nothing happens.  Am I on the way to the local computer store for another x-mas present from me or is there an easy fix?   :-[

Have you got the drivers installed properly?
Try reinstalling or updating the drivers for the HP 1350
