Internet Explorer Error Message - Operatio Aborted

Hello

I was wondering whether anyone would be able to help me. I often play on a gaming website called King.com. I haven't played on it for a couple of months but when i tried to log on (as usual with my laptop) i cant get passed the home page. The error message reads:

Internet Explorer cannot open the internet site http://www.king.com/support      Operation Aborted

The website address on the error message obviously changes according to what part of the site i am trying to access.
Its very frustrating. Its not a problem with King.com because then i tried to log on with my mums computer it worked absolutely fine. I haven't however received this message with any other website... or in fact ever come across this message before.

Look forward to anybodys help or opinion on this one.

slow internet connection I think may be your problem. If you are using broadband (DSL, cable, ect...) check your ethernet connection and check your crossover cable to see if any defects are provoking the problem.

A bad guess at best since other sites are loading fine and the site runs fine as seen on another machine.

6. Reset all 4 security zones to Default

5. General tab
