2wire wierless home networking and verizon
« on: September 29, 2004, 07:39:35 AM »
I had sbc dsl 2wire wireless home networking kit...I had to cancel sbc due to a move and switched to verizon...
verizon seems to think I should be able to use the 2wire networking kit to network the computers.....
yet and this is what puzzles me....I have a westhill dsl modem from verizon that i currently use to connect to the net......
so how would I also use the 2wire wireless home networking kit to connect the two computers since in essence it is a modem also?.....I hope this makes sense?
I'm running windows xp on both machines and would like to know how to network them with the 2wire home networking kit

also....does that kind of thing work through walls...er say I'm in the house and my daughter is out back in the cottage...would wireless networking work in that case?
thanks for any assistance.
