Recording a cassette tape to a pc
    « on: December 27, 2006, 09:57:51 AM »
My Mom gave me an old tape cassette of me playing my flute (15 years ago) that she wants me to put on a cd for her...

I'm not sure how to do this ..
    Any Suggestions?
    Thanks

I'll suggest this reference also: Copying record and tapes to CD.  It has a 9 step tutorial that might be helpful.  I've done what you want to do and used this reference.

Did you purchase the program or just use the trial version?

Sorry, I may have caused a little confusion by being too brief when I posted that link.  I did not use the software being promoted on that site.  Still, the general procedure there, especially the first few steps, regarding the hardware connections, would apply regardless of what software you use.

I used the software that came with my mp3 player, a Creative MuVo TXFM.  I also downloaded freeware called Audacity and have used it; it's an alternative to the Creative MediaSource software that I have or whatever audio recording software you now have.
