I have a lab with 25 Mac G5's 1g ram 150 HD and cannot print to a hp 4050 black & white printer from the G5's either directly(ip printing) or thru a print que on a Xserve box. I can however print to this printer with a PC so I know the printer network connection is good. I have deleted and reinstalled the printer on a couple of G5's and they still cannot print all that happens is the jobs stop and when you click the icon to start jobs it almost immediately stops again.
I have 2 other printers that the G5's do print to 1 is thru the Xserve and 1 is thru ip printing on the machine.
any ideas? any would be appreciated
