    IE7 JAVA problem
    « on: December 28, 2006, 10:32:11 PM »
XP SP2. I installed IE7, but it's not letting java applets load up from the web. I've checked Internet Options Advanced and Security Advanced, but can't seem to find the items that were there in IE6 to enable JAVA.

    Any clues?

    Thanks in advance,

Try re-installing Java and when the installation is finished, it should come up with a checkbox within the program (check it), it has something to do with using Java extensions in IE. Can't really remember exactly what it says. :(

Yes, I have that option checked. I did reinstall JAVA, but don't remember seeing the item mentioned by the fellow above. I will reinstall and look for that.

      Thanks for the suggestions.

That slipped my mind I totally forgot about that even though I tend to work with Java on (almost) a daily basis. :-/
