I have had a problem like this before. Try turning off your router and your modem, then turn on your modem first let it go through and get all the lights lit up and then turn on your router. This fixed the problem for me.

yes good tip, it's a very simple issue. When I first saw this I was thinking you were probably just having a very low signal, I'm in a basement suite at home which gives me that all the time.

as i told u guys i formatted my computer and the internet on my upstairs computer was working perfect before formatting so its definitely not the basement or router issue .........it has to do more with settings of ips and all dat  :-[ :-[

Did you reboot the router to see if it was the problem? Did you reboot the upstairs machine? You don't know if it is problem or not if you didn't try it.

Thats the ticket. Just remove the power for about 5 seconds and then reconnect it.
