Hi all,

I have nothing but problems with the negear router DG834G v3, i have been using Azureus but i am getting the little yellow face saying NAT problem, i have been onto AOL and asked for their help, but i would be better speaking to a brick wall, it is also saying DHT firewalled, its like being back on the old 56k dial up  [smiley=cry.gif]

can anybody give me advice on how to sort out this problem, thanks in advance. [smiley=dankk2.gif]

I can't give you specific advice.
But I see that no one else has had a chance to reply to you yet.    I do have an idea of what I would do in the meantime,  if I were you.

Maybe you already have....

Check out:
http://www.portforward.com/
That's the main page.

http://portforward.com/routers.htm
That's the list of routers that they have more pages on.
# DG834G   is on it.     It is a link that takes you to:

http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Netgear/DG834G/DG834Gindex.htm

Part of what it says there is:
"Welcome to our guide list for the Netgear DG834G. Please select the program you are forwarding ports for from the list below"

Azureus is on that list.
Click it and it takes you to ......    you get the idea.        :)

Reading that stuff might be a good start towards getting it set up correctly.
There are step-by-step instructions there, with pictures.

Let us know if that helped.

Portforward has an Azureus-specific page: http://www.portforward.com/cportsnotes/azureus/azureus22.htm
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.
