all-in-wonder help needed
« on: October 03, 2004, 09:41:27 PM »
I have a problem getting the display right on my ati rage 128 pro video card. I have an hp pavilion xt936 with 98. Its like I have dual monitors. I want to use the ati  card and not the onboard video. On the ati card all I see is the background. No icons or the system tray. On the onboard video it is fine but I can move my mouse off the screen and it shows up on the ati card. How can I get my display set up properly?

I never worked with more than one monitor, however, I recall reading that you have to tag 'Expand Desktop' somewhere. I suggest you use the search function to find relevant posts that may help you.

trekkie28001.... D/L the manual from the link below.
    http://www.ati.com/support/products/pc/rage128/aiw128manuals.html
    The answer should be there.
Then I would be certain that the on-board vid card is disabled .

    Hope this helps

If you don't know the answer, it isn't a dumb question.
