Website access problems from Networked PCs
    « on: January 18, 2007, 02:55:54 AM »
4 x PCs all on same Network & in same Workgroup all XP Pro SP2, fully updated
All using IE7, not certain which version of Adobe all are using

When accessing a certain website, which after logging in & making selection of product to view displays product in pdf format

1 PC can access & view information with no problem
1 PC can access & view information after being prompted to download file &
2 PCs will not even access the website with exactly the same URL typed in the Address Bar

All the PCs sit behind a Firewall which only has a global policy so there is no PC selectivity re: viewing websites

Any thoughts on how to enable all these PCs to view this website without problem would be appreciated

    Thanks for all help

In respect of the first problem:  Control Panel-->Folder Options-->File Types.  Find the type "PDF" in the list.  Click "Advanced".  Uncheck "Confirm open after download".

In respect of the second, do you see any error message?
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.
