Down loading files
« on: October 05, 2004, 05:45:22 PM »
??? I cannot down any file from the internet.
When I try to down load, I see the file folder and the information sheets going into the folder, but then it goes off and then comes back. It appears to be flashing the file folder on the screen, when this happens I cannot do anything with the computer it completely locks up. The only way to stop the flashing is to turn the computer off for a few seconds. I have checked for viruses and spy ware but cannot find any. Please as anyone got any ideas what to do to fix this.

options are remove ie6...from add/remove section in the control panel...or repair ie 6...click on ie 6 in the add/remove properties box...then click add/move buttton and splash screen will appear with options...and if you have firewall re-configure your settings ...
