Video media plays fast.......

OS = Windows 98 SE
Program = Windows Media Player
Steps so far = None

When playing video media, it plays very fast.... I have absolutley no idea why this is happening....  :-/

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

plays fast, as in a lot faster than normal speed.

sounds like corupted codecs?does this happen on all videos try thiswebsite for videos and see if the play normally www.download.com and click the right of the webpage to video streaming? its a test you can try ?

You can also check the Media Player playback speed in View-Enhancements-Play Speed Settings
