zone alarm true vecter
« on: February 13, 2007, 03:41:10 PM »
i had zone alarm installed in my computer, after i did an uninstall its still showing up in my service manager as disabled. when i try to reinstall zone alarm it tells me to shut down my true vector service, so i'm assuming that this is referring to the service still in my services list. when i right click on the service, i cant enable or anything, so im at a loss that my computer still tells me to shut down this service when it obviously isnt running.
is this a problem with registry traces left behind after my uninstall or something else. i want to get every instance of zone alarm out of my system so i can do a clean install. any suggestions?
  thanks ahead of time.

DLoad and run CCleaner and see if it cleans out the remnants...
