i have a dell inspirion notebook and it has a wifi wireless card. at my house i am running dsl through a 4 port wireless modem with no router hooked up. my computer recognizes the modem and receives a connection but will not connect to the internet. do i have to have a router hooked up to get internet connection? and if so does a router even work with a wireless modem, because i had a one port modem before and had a netgear router hooked up to it, but our isp supposedly 'upgraded' us to a wireless modem. any help would be great, thanks!
