Virtual PC for MAC, How do I install WIndows 98?
« on: February 19, 2007, 10:01:55 PM »
So I have installed vitrual PC 7.0 now and have a black screen and it says "no OS found" "Install an operating system"  I have a download of windows 98 on my desktop that I want to install but can not figure out how to get it into Virtual PC.  No I do not have an install/boot disk, just a downloaded version with a bunch of .rar files in it.  Please help. Thanks. :-/

You're most likely going to need an actual 98 disc not a bunch of rar files.

    Hello

If you dont have the disk, you need to capture a .img (image) disk.

Without the image file, this is not possible. You need to find a website that has the .img of Windows 98
