OT: Drivers Ed
« on: February 23, 2007, 04:44:34 PM »
If there would be an online drivers ed course, would you take it?
To get myself on task, I am considering starting such a thing using Yahoo Groups, since they have an interesting email group feature that works excellently for such a thing.

BTW: This would be community run, not by this forum, but by the group letters. Would you take it?

I would have taken it 2 years ago, if such a thing existed.
Computers are the future, not us. Learn everything you can about them while you still can, soon they will be learning about us... Every bit of advice that I give you is best guess, it is your choice whether or not you listen to it.

I personally wouldn't, because I had my parents and grandmother to teach me, so I voted no. It is a very good idea, however. :)

    Well, its done.

If anyone wants to join, all I ask is that you post replys to any info that needs more detail (or even correction to fit different state laws)
And that you post your own driving infomation

If you already know how to drive, then you are still welcome to join. We need more than one person to teach and correct.

I feel bad for the poor kid who gets behind the driver seat and freaks out because he can't find the keyboard.

    LOL CBMatt!
    Good one!

Did you know they say Teens are better drivers since they have better hand-eye coordination because (us) teens type with keyboards more than adults did when growing up?

Makes sense to me.  It also helps that when you first get your license, all of that stuff is still fresh in your mind.
