D drive trouble

I am trying to install something on my computer and it keeps saying my D drive is not accessible.  I have used it before but now I can't use any disks in the disk drive. What could be wrong?

Do you get a message like  this enter disc in drive? if so your cdrom drive need cleaning and can be purchase from most pc stores.
