connecting  problem
« on: February 28, 2007, 05:55:58 PM »
I am on my old puter connected through a D-Link wireless  DI-624
"connected" by lan cable ...
My main puter is connected @ 100.o mps   but will not get me online?
I went exploring [ event properties]= ( not sure what I'm looking for but)  found this error message from couple days ago on the main puter which reads*

your puter was unable to renew its address from the network (from the DHCP Server) for the network card with address 00161___cfb__) <"close"      error: the semaphone timeout period has expired.

I am online connected through the same router but my main puter won't go online?   verizon fios

let me know if I omitted anymore critical info ?  thanks  :'(

Have tried rebooting the router? (Leave the computer running while the router reboots)
If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything.

Hey thanks for replying  2K*

here's what I have   http://www.dlink.com/products/?pid=6

I went to ask.com  &  google  and kinda poked around on re-booting,  I'm not real sure what that involves. Probably not much ?

I wrote down and had the network setup saved on a flash drive  but where I put it , take me awhile to find. Let me know if I am omitting anything,  thanks
