internet security
« on: March 02, 2007, 02:20:11 AM »
Hello. some question's...

Q1) Are there any websites which show what personal information on my computer is easily viewable. E.g. IP address, operation system, etc.?

Q2) If an internet cookie is called, for example, “cookie:[email protected]” does it mean my username is viewable to the website?

Thanks,

Rob Pomeroy

Everything within a cookie is viewable by the webserver at the other end of your connection.  In fact, due to inherent security flaws in the cookie model, you should assume that EVERYONE can read the contents of your cookie files.  So can you - locate them on your had drive, and open them up.
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.
