Problem with wireless connection & vista
« on: March 03, 2007, 09:50:04 PM »
i'm a gamer and for some reason, about every 30 seconds my connection stalls or something.  in-game it will just warp me around quite a bit when it stalls.

i know i had this problem when i ran xp and saw somewhere that windows had some service called "Connection keep alive" or something similar that caused it.

i was just wondering if theres something like that in vista (haven't been able to find it). or just some way to fix the stalls.

i have a gigabyte GN-WPKG wireless pci adapter. i was not able to find vista drivers for this but it had found drivers for it upon installing vista.

thanks

So this has been an on going problem since you had xp?  How far away is the adapter to the source router or modem?
