in-jokes
« on: November 22, 2006, 12:28:13 PM »
Hello people.I have did 'in-jokes' for a spell. They will discontinue.

I have seen SNAP!, wangming,Run the kill, and jokes about Mac
ETC...

I was at another forum that you couldn't joke at if you wanted
to.

I thought this was a refreshing new forum.

Please forgive me for any in-joke I did in the past.I was just
following suit.

Maybe we all should stay focused on help issues.

If I cross over the line anymore please feel free to correct me.

Likewise,I will do the same for you.

Now let's all do what we are here for, free help and advice.

Thank You,  Robert Street.

Sorry,The USA has ruined the language The United Kingdom loaned us. We do our best not to type gibberish. I Hope you can forgive us.

For the record: there's nothing wrong with in-jokes.  It just becomes frustrating when every single post is littered with half a dozen of 'em.
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.

Street1, joke away as far as I'm concerned. Rob's right that they can become boring if they are over used. But more boring underused than over.

And what's the deal with SNAP?

Well, since my Avatar is Sylvester.........SNAP! is the sound of his mousetrap
      when he catches supper.

It could have been PANS spelled backwards but,it ain't.

                                         SNAP!

SNAP! was by no means an epithet but,I know a lot of them.
