« on: March 16, 2007, 03:05:56 PM »
hello this is probably a simple to answer problem for someone.. i have the following
bt homehub (with wireless)
xp laptop (with wireless card)
normal pc (wired via ethernet cable)

i have installed the wireless card to the laptop it reconises the the home hub and says that it has excellent connectivity. however i cant browse the internet , as soon as i try this a blank web page appears and the laptop asks if it should connect/ YES/ then it just displays "web page cannot be displayed" on the browser any ideas? many thanks mw

You need to set the laptop to use the router's IP address as its primary DNS and gateway.  Have a look in the networking FAQ (link below) for more details.
