hi all i bought a cd rw recently (external) only problem is no installation disk anyone no where i can download one? exprex made model no usb 55232ui

What OS do you have?
Recent operating systems do not need drivers for CD drives.

As the deputy has said, a driver is NOT the issue. What does it do or not do? Is it seen in Device Manager? Have you tried other USB ports (especially in the back of the machine)?

Try it on another machine with SP2 on it. If it doesn't work there either, you may have a dud. Was it new?
