alrite, well srry, anyways, i gave u as much info as i have and its really annoying, cuz i want to change my start up pic, and password hint,  and i dont no how to du it thro command prompt, and besides, im the only one in my house who nos how du to anything thru command prompt

I kinda get the feeling that if he can't do something through a batch file, he's not interested.  *shrug*

well, i really dont care how i fix it, just as long as i don't have to reformat my computer if i was going to fix it like that i wouldnt have asked for help in the first place

Give up the attitude and take the advice given...there is NADA in the link i provided that says you have to reformat your HDD.

Did you read the instructions ? ?

Do you have Anti-Virus and Firewall programs on your computer?

How long has this been happening?
Did it happen after you downloaded something? (in which case it could be a virus)

well, i finially made my self an admin,
i do have a firewall
i have an anit-spyware program called spy sweeper and i have norton anti-virus
i really dont no wen it started, i first noticed it in like a month ago
need anything else?
