    Surely, when I came to US, nobody was able to pronounce my whole first name, so I did cut it in half :)

    You pronounce it, more, or less like "w" in "win".

    BTW "w" in Polish is pronounced as "v" in English.
    Now, take a few minutes, and try...hehehe
