Need some assistance...
« on: May 02, 2007, 05:35:56 AM »
Hey all,

This is the problem. After my computer has been running for a few hours I start getting lag/pauses in my mouse and sound. Kind of like skips on a cd or record. I have tooled with it but don't know what the heck is going on. . This has been going on for about a week. It stops if I reboot. Haven't put any new programs on and have run virus and spyware with no hits. Diving me nuts. Any thoughts?

My build:

C2D E6600 (not oc'd)
MSI Platinum V2 975X
Zalman Fan
3 Gig memory 667mHz PC5300
PNY 7600GT
500W PSU with a generic case
Sound is an Audigy 2 platinum.

It's a logitech wireless keyboard and laser mouse.  All drivers are uptodate. It happens after the system is running for a couple hours.

      Low batteries...
      Interference from cordless phones...
      Channels not synchronised...

Just a few things you can check.

My money's on at least one of these being a factor.
