Try selecting a different resolution/refresh rate.

What monitor did you have before this? Did you have the same problem?

11kb, if you made less use of Limewire and the like you'd have less spyware resulting in better loading times.  :)

Huh.....I don't even have limewire on this computer and by 'huge picture', by huge i meant it's really big so there is a scroll bar thing at the bottom kinda huge.

im not sure what Whitefalcon's problem is is the screen always black like that? or are you colors not as bright ? every monitor will have a different look to it when you get it home your going to have to mess with the settings

a screen shot of your normal desktop would have helped or a shot of oblivion outside

I myself just got that monitor and it is "the bomb" right now on a price vs. size & quality (gamers> 2mms !!!! )   ratio (whatever that is!)  but there is like a huge "issue" with that monitor about which panel buyers are getting > from newegg  anyway....   I got the dreaded  A panel, I don't know why all the fuss,  I love the thing, though it can be tweaked a lot, or just keep the defaults... I wonder if he messed around with it?

This is not a monitor problem. It is a driver/configuration problem.

I've got a Syncmaster 930BF And it works FINE.

      Is this only in Oblivion?
Or does it, say happen in other games?  All the time? Or what?
What graphics card do you have?
Looks to me like a driver issue or a corrupted installation, depending on when it happens.

its only in the shaded areas, you can see all the pixles , i was thinking it was because the rest of my computer sucks so i cant run it in a widescreen setting or it lags A LOT haha but yeah what is A panel or B panel what is that crap ? haha

        http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/2007/03/15/Samsung_226BW/1.html

there's  (a) 4 page review on this monitor  [ page four talks about the A vs. S thing ]....  { i read like 5 different reviews }, also; read all the reviews starting from most recent on bought monitors
at newegg.com  >  there is much speculation on quality with these panels, check your product label (silver) on the back of your monitor panel. Someone months ago started a quality issue about this model and the series of panels being shipped to buyers, there is a difference in these panels for sure, the speculation is are some are inferior to the others?

f..y..i...  (seems a video card with dvi output ) makes all the difference......< ????
