    I was installing the Zune software so I can listen to my music on my xbox 360, but I ran into a problem. The Zune software could not read my OS and I can't understand why. It is Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2, and that is one of the OS's on the list, but it won't read it. It is a legal version of Windows that I purchased, but it doesn't read it.

    I called Xbox customer care, but they were no help at all. I tried backing up to a different update, but to no avail. I am stuck and need help.

      That is what the error said, "Zune cannot read your Operating System.". I don't know how this error comes up, but I can get all the way to the installation screen, then this error comes up.

        Yes, it had Service Pack 2 on the list of supported, it just won't read mine.
