Unknown soundcard problem

I reinstall my windows xp yestarday
couse of virus and stuff...
now The x.p didnt install my sound card and i dont know what is my sound card
I open computer to check if theres any label on the sound card but it dont
so i have no clue What is my sound card model

Any idia how 2 get proper driver?

Right click on My Computer -> Manage - > Device Manager -> Control for Audio, Video and Games

See for any soundcard entries.

Google for the name or check Driverguide

Also, see if the drivers are on the original CD that your computer or sound card came with. You can always just upgrade the drivers off the internet if you wish.
