    Looks good.

I probably would have gone with a SATA hard drive instead of IDE.  Also, OEM processors usually don't come with a fan / heatsink, so unless you have verified if it comes with one already, you may still need to get a fan / heatsink.

Just my opinion*    GuruGary <<<  "ditto"

      drop this*
      Seagate / Barracuda 7200.10 / 500GB / 7200 / 8MB / ATA-100 / EIDE /HD

get 2 of the 320 gig  16mb  sata drives (if you still can and can wait  .. ;) )

looks like you want to game, the raid O and 16mb  320 hd's  will purrrrr  and play quicker.

I THINK*  the 2 hd's  are about the same cost or cheaper than the one 500 gb
the rest of the puter looks  sweet ~
mobo- MSI P6N SLI / LCD Samsung  226BW
      Ram- G-Skill dual HQ / Speakers- 5300e's
      Fatality Hi-Fi Soundcard
      cpu - currently ~ E6600 / Foxfire only
      dual~Seagate 320 gig sata's
      8800 gts- MSI /Verizon Fios

I like the idea of going with two hard drives.

Your video card choice is very weak as compared to the rest of your system.

Your power supply may be OK, but Ultra is not a top-shelf brand like this rig deserves.

      You said it.
Check the GPU FAQ (FAQ, Hardware) for more info.
The 7300 is not suitable for modern gaming.

Did you check the GPU FAQ yet?
That gices you a good idea of what's what.
And the 8600 comes in at around X1950 level, I need to add that and the other 8 series cards soon.
