Atari 8-bit emulator

i downloaded Xformer (an atari 8-bit emulator) for DOS but i can't figure out how to run my atari 800 games. can someone tell me how to run an .XFD file?

if u don't know how, can u tell me about some other emulators that would be easier to use.

First Download Eluminator for windows version and check its note pad or help or gameslist in its help and then download the DOs version
