automatic updates

Hi,i have a dell xps210 intel 2core,
over the last few days windows released
automatic updates, my pc can'nt install them
it downloads them restarts says configering updates
restarts normally to  desktop
,then it says you have updates ready to download??the same ones.
round+round for the last week.

Yea I have a solution. Uncheck the KB935807 update and install all others. I have experienced, and a quick Google reveals the problem with this update is widespread. Hide it for now - Microsoft will get on to it at some stage... I believe it addresses the Windows Firewall so if you are not using that you will not be adversely affected.

Yea, I think this information should be stickied somewhere with a link to the MSDN thread about it - so that people can be informed of any updates.

Though if you are not using the Windows Defender Firewall thingy or whatever it's called then you will not need the fix anyway.

unfortunitly im stuck with windows firewall.
i can not got zonealarm or pc,tools or virgin
pc,gaurd,firewalls to work.
oh well cheers p
