This is the priority I put in the BIOS.

    1: CD ROM
    2: Removable
    3: HDD
    4: None

When I boot from the CD, all it does is show a black screen with a blinking underscore in the top left corner of the screen, and then it just skips to windows.

You need to burn the iso as an image. In Nero 7 it's called "Burn image to disk". If you can't find the option, tell me the name of the burner software and I'll try to find out.

Okay I found this on another forum.. it may work.
Right click the iso file and select 'open with', find 'Disc copy' in the new window and press ok. That should allow you to burn the iso.

If that doesn't work I suggest you download ImgBurn instead, its free and easy to use.
Just install it, right click the iso file and select 'Burn using ImgBurn'. In the new window that pops up press the button in the bottom left corner.

*censored*, how long does that thing run for?

Anyway, its been running for about two hours and a half now, and it got over 120 errors.

Does that mean my memory is good for scrap?

MemTest is a loop test...it runs til you turn it off.
Any errors mean the RAM needs replaced.
Test one stick at a time to determine which one is bad.

Well, since its DDR2 and they have to work together (or I think?) I believe I should just send both back and ask for a new pair.

                Try re-seating the ram first.

                  Already did that.
