I am using Outlook 2003 and would like to customize the body of a mail message to pull the first names from the distribution list and insert them in the greeting. Can Outlook do this? I looked into making a form but don't see a way of making this happen. I have to use Outlook for this because it is what my employer requires we use for email.

The purpose of this would be to send out an email to a distribution list that is personalized for each individual recipient. So if my distribution list contained emails for Tom Jones and Mary Smith I could write one email for both of them but outlook would automatically change "Dear ______" to Dear Mary, or Dear Tom.

Thanks so much!!!
