Hello all. I just bought a used comp off of my BIL and it is an HP Pavilion Windows ME. It is very slow, and has a lot of programs installed on it that I don't need/use. I was wondering if it is possible to just scrap everything on here, get rid of any viruses,and upgrade my windows to something that is still supported? ALso, for right now, how do I stop all the programs that just popup(icons) on my taskbar next to the volume icon?
