Modem Blocked

When I tried to connect to the internet, it said "The modem is being blocked" And it says that everytime I try to connect to the internet. My phones are not working properly also. I think that thats the problem but I'm not sure. Can anyone help out?

    Well there are only 2 options:
    1) Reset modem
    2) call ISP

      If your phones aren't working you need to call your service provider.
      But out of curiosity... what exactly is telling you your modem is being blocked?

      @jonas: How do I reset my modem? I'll call my isp also.

      @deerpark: My internet service provider; AOL. My type of internet is dial-up and when I click connect, it says "The modem is being blocked." during the dial-up.

      I'm still open for other suggestions people. The more help, the better.

        Jonas was referring to a broadband modem, I don't think you can reset a dial up modem.
        This sounds like a problem with either AOL or your phone line. Either way it isn't something we can help you with I'm afraid.

          You definitely need to call your ISP. They are most likely blocking your connection for some reason. Did you pay your bill?  ;D
