Well, I'm in the same position as you (sort of).
I had a choice between ICT A level (which, at the places near me, was basically MS Office and web browsing . . . didn't I pass that already?) or BTEC Nation Diploma for IT Practitioners (worth 3 A levels).
I'm taking the Diploma, and specializing in Systems Support (had a choice between network design, systems support, or software design).
As GX44 says, whatever you enjoy most is the best field - don't take a course in something you hate, waking up and going to work at a job you don't like is the worst thing possible.
